The One In Five Foundation For Kids rarely makes public calls for financial support. Yet, as a 501c3 charity (IRS #88-3268749) the work we do with school communities nationwide, is largely dependent on your contributions. As we continue to expand our work, our expenses grow as well. At times that means we must reach out & ask - Will you support our work with a tax deductible donation today? Your donation goes toward our scholarship programs, emergency school crisis aide, intervention and school safety training services and so much more!
For almost three years now, since that tragic day in Uvalde, Texas 2022- The One In Five Foundation For Kids has served students and those who care for them nationwide, in an unrelenting effort to end school violence on a variety of platforms & enhance the quality of life for our students across this nation.
From demanding that local, state & national leaders do more for the safety of students, to responding with mental health crisis support following a school crisis, to aiding in the search for missing students, to advocating on behalf of the bullied, to monitoring and preventing school threats - there is so very much we do. However, we cannot do it alone.
Since December of last year, 2024, we have received under $200 in outside, public donations to cover our operational expenses. We believe our work is worth far more. And we know our expenses exceed that figure as well. None of our officers or staff EVER receive a paycheck or compensation for services! And our board contributes their own finances/donations to cover various foundation expenditures. What national nonprofit do you know who can say that? BUT to continue growing WE NEED YOUR HELP!
